      6th class - Borates Their subdivisions are based on the constitution of planar BO₂ complexes and tetrahedral B(O, OH) complexes which can occur separately or in groups. They can also form complex linear, two-dimensional and three-dimensional bonds (nesoborates, soroborates, inoborates, phyloborates and tectoborates). The complexes BO₃, B(O, OH)₄ can be present.
